Urban Climate Sensorium - Net Zero National Meteorological Center
The goal of this competition is to construct a new National Meteorological Center in the Government Complex of Daejeon, adjacent to the Meteorological Administration headquarters, to streamline operations and management. This Center is designed to integrate with the local environment and rejuvenate the area by introducing a contemporary urban landmark. It will feature strategic spatial organization to support the critical functions of weather forecasting. As South Koreaβs inaugural carbon-neutral building, it is intended to be a pioneering example for climate adaptation, serving as an βurban sensoriumβ that proactively engages with environmental dynamics.
