The 'K-facade Design System' is a bottom-up design methodology that employs generative AI and data analytics to address the complex cultural identities in architecture. Incorporating facade design, material recommendation, fabrication, narrative creation, identity analysis, and participatory feedback, this system achieves data materialization. By using Part-aware AI Models, it identifies specific elements of facades to which appropriate materials, like recycled wood, are applied, and employs robotic fabrication techniques. This method not only promotes sustainability but also ensures the cultural appropriateness of the facades.
