Peaceful-Dynamic

Peacefulness and dynamism are not mutually exclusive. We can feel dynamism in a peaceful situation and peaceful relaxation in a dynamic one. This coexistence of peace and energy—“peaceful dynamics”—can be found in nature. Among the many components of our world, nature has co-existed with humans the longest, even before our presence. It has been the foundation of human life and functions like a parent, giving us comfort. Though some see nature as something to be conquered, humans cannot exist alone; we will always live with nature as our stage. The familiarity and comfort built over such a long time may explain nature’s “peacefulness.”

At the same time, nature is affluent and energetic. An energetic stream falling into rivers and lakes may roar, yet this sound brings comfort rather than distraction, following rich and predictable patterns. The form of a waterfall constantly changes, yet flows in repeating rhythms. In the forest, walking between vertical trees, we lean, rest, and feel at peace, while the branches, leaves, and arrangements of trees—shaped by nature’s own choices—reveal full vitality in diverse forms. This is “peaceful dynamics”: an atmosphere that is both peaceful and energetic. Forestfall conveys the peaceful energy of the forest and the waterfall. Located in a calm and quiet setting, the Moran Museum allows each visitor to become a scenario maker, walking through the forest and eventually coming face to face with the waterfall.
