Although many parametric experiments exist, most remain limited in expression, so we designed garments that emphasize both structural strength and organic form by abstracting enlarged bones and muscle-like layers into wearable forms. Bonsculine is composed of an βendothelium,β suggesting muscular texture and an βintegumentβ symbolizing skeletal structure, imagining a skeleton extending outward from the muscle layer to create a dynamic spatial form. Made only from rigid, two-dimensional pieces, the garments use engraved patterns that enable the elements to twist into three-dimensional shapes, and, through a Grasshopper-based algorithm, they can be customized to each wearer using waist, shoulder, and neck measurements.
